Kim's first time being "D.I.D"

D.I.D (Damsel In Distress) is another theme within Audition's KP The series, featuring Kim, sometimes Monique, in tight situation, with her mouth gagged, preventing her from shouting. Unlike the Hot Scene theme, this one is far less common, only during a few selected chapters, since it mostly occurs during mission. RonBWL personally explains that Kim "never gets to experience such sitch in Middleton since all the villains here are stupid, but things are different in Audition World, and she gotta stay with it", which makes sense

Just like with the Hot Scene theme, Kim and Monique are featured exclusively for the main role, as they are fictional characters and such scenes won't harm their reputation whatsoever

List of D.I.D scenes (Main Story)

Chapter 5: Ron's secret plan

• As Kim is running upstairs to deal with Chick, someone suddenly grabs her shoulder, pulling her inside a nearby room. She tries to scream but her mouth is gagged tightly so she couldn't let out a sound

Chapter 6: Long time vendetta

• Monique is trying to figure out the wrong point in the picture Bonnie gave her, and she eventually notices the difference of skin color between Ron and the culprit. Hatelary then ambushes and gags Monique with a chloroform-filled handkerchief, putting her to sleep. Jim and Tim later find Monique tied up in an abandoned warehouse outside Ocean Beach and free her

Chapter 8: Behind a plan

• Kim enters the Blue Island to figure out B.I's plan, but is attacked by Chick from behind while taking a look at their office. Chick then ties Kim up and tape-gags her before leaving with his boss. Much later on, Ron carries on the plan to rescue Kim and Dan instructs him to use the Dragunov's scope to find Kim on the island. He sees Kim waken up, tied up and gagged, near some explosive barrels, and it's his job to hit the rope with incendiary ammo to free her

Chapter 11: The trouble with the comic

• Ron tries to persuade Kim to give up on the competition with Mindy, to no avail. As Kim leaves, he suddenly gags her with a chloroform-filled handkerchief. Taken by surprise, Kim struggles and tries to scream, but still falls asleep soon afterward
• As Ron complains about having to fill up for Liz, Kim claims that she is in bigger trouble - apparently people knows her cheerleading ability and constantly requests her help, and she isn't happy with it. Kim then demands Ron to do something about his comic - he could try other method to attract readers, just no Hot Scene. Ron agrees, and he puts Kim to display on D.I.D instead

Chapter 16: Best manager competition

• The election speech is coming and Kim is looking toward it - however, she is suddenly informed by Ron that someone needs to talk to her about something dirty. While Kim walks around the alleys, she is ambushed and gagged a chloroform-filled handkerchief and fell unconscious
• Later on, Kim wakes up and find her self tied up inside some warehouse. Struggling back to her feet, she recalls what happened earlier and now she must escape this place. Looking around, Kim finds a lit candle on the table, and she walks toward it to let it burn the rope binding her arms
• After learning that Ron didn't know about her success mission, Kim asks the tweebs to help playing it along so Ron could be her savior for once. As planned, Ron fulfilled the kidnappers' demand and is told to go to Hooker Inn. Hotel. He finds an Admiral, open the trunk, and find Kim, tied up and gagged, sleeping inside

Chapter 17: A secret relationship

• Kim just made her way into Shoreside Hospital to break Kazuki out. While she is searching for his profile in the Management Room, a guard spots her and chases her around. As Kim stops near the man's bathroom, someone grabbed and dragged her inside, as the guard come. He keeps searching for Kim, while Ron holds her arm inside the bathroom, gagging her mouth so she won't make a sound

Chapter 23: The big job

• After losing a bet with Ron, Kim decides to take it fair and square, with whatever favor Ron asks her to do. It turns out that Ron wants Kim to act as model again; this time for her escape scene in Chapter 16. Little does Ron know, Kim was not gagged at that time, but she couldn't tell him that before it's too late. Kim now has to act like she did at that time, albeit with two tapes on her mouth

Chapter 24: Downfall

• The EPR catches on Kim's plan to expose Ellene's relationship with Henry and ambushes her in an alley near Ammu-Nation. Blue gets rid of her camera while Red ties her up and puts her into a trunk of a Vincent II, which supposedly sends her to San Fierro for a few days. By chance, that car belongs to Ron, and as he is about to go look for Kim, a strange sound from the trunk echoes, catching Ron's attention. He then goes to open it for a check, and find Kim tied up and gagged lying inside

Chapter 26: Unexpected encounter

• After failing to escape from the EPR, Jess finds herself tied up and gagged, before Yellow moves her to the car trunk for a ride to Las Venturas. Later on, Kir storms the K.A.C.C Depot, and Blue, who's guarding Jess, decides to go out for a check. Ron then jumps down and knocks out Blue, in front of Jess' eyes

Chapter 30: Resolve

• Chick is looking to by some M.E pills to calm himself down, but Kim happens to get the last one. Soon, Chick tries to extort Kim for it, but she refuses to give in, and since Kim doesn't have time to fight, she runs away. As the chase continues, Kim tries to evade Chick through the corner, but someone suddenly grabbed and dragged her inside a small corridor. Chick lost sight of Kim and decides to wait for an ambush near the exit, while Ron holds Kim tight in the corridor, gagging her mouth so she won't make a sound

Chapter 31: Crime Stopper

• Ron is visiting Ocean Beach Gym on Leone's recommendation for free coupons, but he also gotta try the pool. As Ron is changing inside the Changing Room, Kim enters with her swimsuit on, and the two quickly causes a commotion. Rose, hearing it, rushes to the scene to see what happened, but nobody's there. In fact, Ron already dragged Kim to hide behind some lockers, gagging her mouth so she won't make a sound. It's later revealed that someone switched the sign to prank Ron, so Kim lets him off the hook - however, she didn't forgive him for gagging her earlier
• As Monique wanders around thinking of a place to suggest Kim to vacant on, Milkywave arrives and tells her that V.C Travel Agency could help. Monique agrees to pay a visit, though she won't promise anything. It turns out to be an ambush, with Hate gagging Monique with a chloroform-filled handkerchief, putting her to sleep
• Later on, Monique is taken hostage at the old Warehouse with Yellow guarding her. As Ron makes his way upstairs, he finds out that Monique is tied up and gagged inside a small room with one guy guard her. Ron then creates a distraction to force Yellow to run off, but the door won't open, so Ron has to barge his way in. It's later revealed that the door is opened inside-out, and Ron complains that Monique didn't let him know it earlier, which Monique reminds him that she could not speak at that time
• After losing the battle with the EPRs, Kim finds herself tied up to a pillar with gasoline cans nearby, and Blue setup a Satchel Charge to blow her up in five minutes. There is not enough time for Kim to break free, and she thinks of yelling for help so Ron could come to her rescue. It still takes a bit of time before Kim eventually decides to shout, and Ron immediately falls into the room after locating her. He disables the Satchel Charge while complaining that Kim should do it earlier since she wasn't gagged, and Kim "apologizes" for disappointing him

Chapter 34: The way it's right now (P2)

• The shock of losing his account is too much for Ron to bear, and Kim persuades him to work on other stuff to forget about it while waiting for a solution. She thinks Ron could concentrate on his comic work, but Ron said he can't - true, Chapter 24 is almost finished but Ron is stuck on Page 16 as he cannot draw the last panel using just his imagination in this state. Kim understands, and she insists that she helps, namely posing as model for Ron to reference. It works, and Ron was able to continue drawing. During the work, Ron said that Kim doesn't need to struggle since he is just drawing a static frame, and Kim, unable to speak, tries to express that he tied her too tight

Chapter 35: The way it's right now (P3)

• After fighting her way through the base of Area 69, Kim confronts Valentine and tries to ask for Ron's whereabouts, but that guy claims that she didn't win yet. Immediately afterward, Kim is ambushed by Chick from behind - Chick quickly grabs Kim's arm and gags her mouth with a chloroform-filled. Kim struggles and tries to break free while constantly scream through the gags, but Chick is much stronger than her so she eventually passes out due to the chloroform

Chapter 36: The way it's right now (P4)

• Kim eventually wakes up and find herself chained into a glass window, whilst Ron is inside the room behind her, completely free but unable to rescue her. After a short talk, Kim figures out that the tweebs gave Ron a Black Bat Guitar which can come in handy - he is asked to play a song by Super Kidd, and the high pitch notes eventually breaks the window, freeing Kim.
• After defeating Valentine, Kim checks up on Ron at the hospital and leaves before telling him to go home and rest his fingers. Ron then returns to the tweebs who just finished checking up the evil Kim. As they talk, Jim opens the car trunk and finds that evil Kim has waken up - Ron then asks what are they going to do while she struggles and tries to scream through the tape gag.

Chapter 38: Easter Issue

• Tailing Andreas to an alley and trying to eavesdrop on his phone call, Jess accidentally tips over a drink can and alerts Andreas. She then tries to run away but is suddenly gagged and dragged into a corner. Andreas then hears a couple making out at the corner and thinks that they had nothing to do with him so he leaves them alone. It is actually Ron that made all that sound coupled with Jess' muffled voice due to her being gagged.
• Peace is eventually resotred in Los Santos, and Kim's work is also finished as she doesn't need to take care of the EPR and Azu's gang war. As Kim walks around wondering if Ron got his share yet, she is suddenly pulled into a corner and someone quickly gags her mouth. It was Ron's "surprise" - he is very excited, while Kim tries to tell him that a surprise is pulled by covering the eyes, not the mouth.

Chapter 39: Recruitment Drive

• While guarding the top floor, Kim suddenly hears someone shouting that they are going to bomb the place - she quickly runs downstairs to try to catch him. When Kim locates the place, nobody's inside except a radio. Kim thinks it's a bad joke, but suddenly someone grabs her from behind and gag her mouth with a chloroform-filled handkerchief, instantly knocking her out

Chapter 40: Promise

• Jess volunteers to help Ron finish his weekly issue comic and details the situation happened when she tried to recover the Silver Mirror from Valentine but ended up getting captured. After finishing the page, Ron is ready to move on, but Jess suggests that he may need a model because this is the first time Ron draws Jess as Damsel In Distress. Even though Ron is reluctant at first, Jess states that she clearly knows what she is doing and she is happy with it, so Ron goes along with her offer. They go to the nearby street, and Ron takes time drawing Jess whilst she is tied up and gagged.

Chapter 41: Discreet Affair

• Following Ray's plan, Kim signed up to be his fiancee, and she leaves on her own, wondering how will Ron react if he finds out about this. Suddenly, Kim is gagged and pulled into an alleyway - it was Ron, and he demands an answer.
• After arriving at Victim Shop to collect her wedding dress, Kim is told to get it herself, but she can't seem to find it anywhere. The boss then tells her that it's ruined and he can take her to get another one, in afterlife. Realizing it's a trap, Kim quickly turns around, only to be grabbed and gagged with a chloroform-filled handkerchief by Vlad, who just came out of the corner. Kim is then tied up and tape gagged before Vlad puts her in his car trunk and deliver her to Sandra.
• Eventually Kim is waken up by Sandra, and she finds herself stripped and chained to the wall. After a short confrontation, Sandra decides to "fix" Kim's face a little with her knife, but Ron arrives on time to disrupt the scene and clear all the misunderstanding.

Chapter 43: Moment of Truth

• Tailing Andreas to his hideout, Kim was able to find the evidence proving that Aniv is at fault for the bus accident that resulted in Mr. Wu's death. Ron appears behind her and comments on it as well, but this makes Kim surprised and let out a shout. Immediately afterward, Ron holds Kim back and gags her so she won't make further noise, and they managed to escape Andreas' suspicious thanks to a small wind.

Chapter 47: The Wicked Solution

• After finding out Kim is going to come after the culprit who separated their team, Ron tries to talk Kim out of it because her body is not in perfect condition, but Kim won't listen. As Kim walks away claiming that she's only a little nervous, Ron attempts to "wipe out her sweat", only to put his chloroform-filled handkerchief on her mouth to knock her out.

Chapter 49: Jess, Bonnie and Mei

• To drive the criminals after Kim's daughter away, Jess (Android Kim) executes a plan and sacrifice her familiar to trick Hate and Yazu into leaving without Mei. As she leaves the scene, Kim suddenly shows up and berates her for a reckless plan, then runs off to save her familiar. Jess tries to stop Kim, but Ron knocks her out with chloroform to keep her out of action.

Epilogue: The Aftermath

• After Kim barges in and insults Green to no end, he surrenders to Ron and asks the latter to stop him, which Ron agrees and take back the antidote. Ron then catches Kim's attention to make her turn around, then he put a cloth onto her mouth to make her inhale the antidote.

Extra: Eight Years in the Future

• Mei just made her way into Ocean Dock where she finds some sensitive documents belong to the EPR. Green spots her and chase her away - as Mei turns around a corner, she is dragged behind some containers, causing Green to lose track of her. It was Ron, just rush out to help his daughter out, and he has to gag Mei to prevent her from shouting, revealing their location.

Liberty City Story

• After attempting to stop a back alley brawl, Kim is ambushed by Milkywave - she is then tied up and gagged, left inside a nearby construction site while Milky heads out imposing as Kim to trick Kazumi into missing the trial. Bonnie catches on this and asks Jerry to go find Kim, which Jerry does.

Moonie Scarlett Story

• Mei tags along her father to a neighborhood to stop some villains but it turned out to be false alarm. She is not happy and wants to go back, but Ron (Milkywave) suddenly grab her from behind and knocked her out with a chloroform-filled handkerchief.

MSS: End of the Road

• After falling victim to the EPR's drug deal, Mei is kidnapped and left bound and gagged inside their warehouse in Little Haiti. She is then rescued by a boy her father met by chance, Michael Lewis, after Ron gave him some distraction so he can sneak inside.

Trivia

• The double tape gag is an original model in Audition, part of "Keep it Secret" face avatar. It is used exclusively for this series since drawing/using other texture would be out of place
• During Chapter 30, Kim jokingly asks if Ron is taking advantage of the sitch to gag her, apparently because she suffers so much of these incidents in the series and has to question whether Ron actually enjoy seeing her like this or not
• Similarly, Kim's "apologize" in Chapter 31 indicating that she suspects Ron's disappointment is because she was not gagged this time, according to his last sentence
